The Midwest Center for Youth and Families was established in April of 1997. Since our inception, we have worked hard to gain an excellent reputation in delivering quality care in residential treatment services for adolescents, not only in our community, but throughout the entire state of Indiana. We have provided services and/or assistance to clients from Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Ohio. We believe that all of our customers are entitled to quality healthcare services.

At the Midwest Center, our greatest assets are our staff and physicians, working as a multi-disciplinary team to treat the individual needs of each resident. Our multi-disciplinary team includes the physicians, pharmacist, nutritionist, nurses, behavioral health workers, teachers, and residential therapists. All of the Midwest Center staff are committed to providing comprehensive psychiatric healthcare services in a setting that effectively and efficiently meets the needs of our residents, their families and the community. We promote the successful return of youths to their families and home communities, whenever possible.

Our services are designed and provided in a culturally sensitive framework so as to acknowledge and honor differences among individuals, families and communities. We work with youth that have been unresponsive to outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, and in-home treatment services and/or unable to successfully function in traditional educational settings. Many of our residents have a history of multiple hospitalizations and/or failed placements.

We remain focused on our vision of becoming the best residential treatment provider for youth in the Midwest by consistently exceeding our families expectations. We are committed to being the premier provider of residential services for our youth and their families along with providing outstanding service to referral sources.

Our facility is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and licensed by the state of Indiana. We continually assess our performance and strive for improvement.
